What does our hotel do to protect the health of our guests, especially children?

To protect the health of our guests and because of the large number of children, we take extra care of hygiene in the rooms and common areas throughout the year.

During the periods when the country has a high incidence of viral diseases, we put even more emphasis on preventing infections. Although we do our best to keep pathogens outside our hotel walls, the constant turnover of guests and the incubation period for viruses means that there may still be occasional outbreaks of illness on the hotel premises.

If we become aware that a sick guest is staying in the house, we will always proceed as follows:

• We call the Guest’s attention that for the protection of others, please avoid visiting the common areas, including the wellness area, the restaurant, the Ele Club, the animation programmes, activities and the Play Island.
• We will immediately start the disinfectant cleaning of rooms and common areas, with particular attention to door handles.
• Toys in the Play Island, the restaurant play area and Hempergő are constantly disinfected.

What to do if your child falls ill before departure?

Please do not travel with children if you have any symptoms of viral infection in your family. Your deposit will of course not be forfeited, we will let you know how long it can be credited towards a future booking and we will be happy to find another date for your family holiday.

What to do if your child falls ill at the hotel?

If you do become ill during your stay, please do not visit the common areas to protect the health of other guests. Please inform our colleagues at reception, who will be happy to give you information about the paediatrician on duty. Thank you for your cooperation.

Where is the nearest pediatrician or doctor’s office to the hotel?

Pediatrician’s office and medical on-call service is available at the Medical Clinic at Balaton Road 65, which is located about 5 minutes’ drive from the hotel, next to the main road 7. The nearest hospital is the Szent György Hospital in Székesfehérvár.

Can we provide medicines and bandages at reception if needed?

Basic fever and painkillers can be requested at the hotel and spa reception, at your own risk.

However, it’s worth remembering this when packing, and it’s a good idea to bring any medicines you might need during your break.

The nearest pharmacy with long opening hours is located in the Medical Clinic (Velence, Balatoni út 65). For information about pharmacies on duty in the area, please ask at the reception.

At reception we can provide you with a thermometer, bandages and plasters for minor injuries. A fully equipped first aid kit is available at reception and in the wellness area.

Are we prepared for emergencies?

At our family-friendly hotel, we pay special attention to the safety of little ones. Our children’s animators, activity leaders and pool attendants have also completed a special first aid course, where they have learned the most important emergency procedures.

Our colleagues learned about the most common childhood accidents, what to do in case of fever, burns or scalds, when and how to call an ambulance, and what the first steps are until help arrives.

The course also included life-saving techniques, including how to remove a foreign body in the airway of infants and older children, and a focus on lay resuscitation. Our staff also learned three techniques for different ages. They also practised on babies under 1 year old, older children and adult surrogates. They also learned how to use a semi-automatic defibrillator.

Where is there a defibrillator in the hotel?

A semi-automatic defibrillator is permanently available at the reception and at the wellness reception.

Who can stay at the hotel?

Anyone can visit our hotel, no vaccination certificate is required.

Should I wear a mask as a guest?

Our guests are not required to wear masks.

What measures have we implemented to ensure safe relaxation?

Cleanliness has always been a priority, but now we are disinfecting our common areas more frequently than usual: floors, door handles, counters, touch screens, toys, water blocks. Whatever can be touched, we disinfect.

Hand sanitiser is provided in the communal areas and soap with disinfectant is available in the communal toilets.

Does the spa, the playhouse, and everything else operate?

Yes, all our services are up and running.

What can you do as a guest?

Our staff take all necessary precautions and we ask our guests to act responsibly.
