Sanse Café & Restaurant and Chef’s Bistro
Our restaurant is the venue of the half board meals, offering rich breakfast and a plentiful buffet for dinner, in a spectacular environment: while enjoying your food you will have a scenic view of Lake Velence and the surrounding hills! A special buffet corner has been arranged for the kids, and baby food is also available for our youngest guests. Join us for lunch and select your favourite food from our à la carte menu including Hungarian, international and vegetarian courses as well as grilled specialities. Guests are kindly requested to enter the restaurants in proper attire.

Papa's Bar
The bar next to the hotel reception is a peaceful venue for a chat with your friends, to drink a tasty Italian coffee, a lemonade in the afternoon, a cocktail or some wine in the evening. A moment of peace during the break between experiences or during the evening programs.

If you get hungry during the day, you can choose from our menu. Our snack boxes are designed for you if you're going on a trip or just want a healthy snack during the day.
Content of half board
All our packages include half board, consisting of a daily buffet breakfast and a buffet dinner.
Buffet breakfast
If you wake up in the morning early or late, our breakfast buffet is packed with delicacies from 7:00 to 10:00 in the morning.
Sweet and savoury products from the bakery, butter, margarine, jam, honey, breakfast cereals, muesli, plain and fruit yoghurt.
In addition, hot and cold food: cold cuts, ham, salami, sausages and a wide variety of cheese may all be found on the buffet table.
You can choose from a daily changing selection of hot meals: egg dishes, roasted bacon, homemade sausages or wiener, vegetable and potato dishes.
Your breakfast will be complete with fresh vegetables and fruits, fruit salad and compote; enjoy them with a lovely coffee and fruit juices.
Our pancake maker will soon become a favourite with the kids, as you can even make the pancakes yourself.
Rich buffet dinner
The buffet dinners have been designed to satisfy every need (e.g. Hungarian cuisine, international flavours, vegetarian meals).
For dessert, we offer fresh fruit, cheese and a variety of cakes.
Please note that, subject to availability, we offer an a la carte meal instead of a buffet as part of the half-board.
Dinner is served every day between 6:00 pm-8:30 pm
Babies up till one year of age may choose from our selection of Univer baby foods. You will find them on the buffet table. For children we have a separate buffet table with their favourite dishes.
The hotel offers lactose- and gluten-free food for our guests with food allergies as needed. Unfortunately, our hotel cannot cater to paleo or vegan diets.

Meal options for babies
We have a range of Univer baby foods as our half board selection for our youngest guests up till one year of age. You will find our selection of baby food at the buffet table at breakfast and at dinner as well.
Microwaves are available in two locations. Meal heating options are available 24 hours a day in the small indoor play centre, and in the baby-mommy room near the Play Island from 8:00 to 21:00.
Bottle warmer - free of charge - available at reception.
Breakfast, lunch, dinner for older children
We have also thought about the bigger children with the selection of buffet breakfasts and dinners. A separate kids’ buffet is set up especially for them.
For lunch, look for "Our offer for children" on the Chef's Bistro menu!
Food allergies
Gluten - and lactose-free meals
You can enjoy complete relaxation here! Our hotel offers hypoallergenic food, appropriate for our guests with lactose- and gluten intolerance, as needed. Our breakfast selection is complete with gluten-free bakery products as well as lactose-free milk, rice- and soy milk. The entire selection is not always displayed on the buffet, however they are available at all times. Please do not hesitate to contact our staff, as they will be more than happy to help you. The dinner menu card always contains information regarding the courses that are suitable for you, in case you are lactose- or gluten intolerant. Please note that cross-contamination and the presence of allergen(s) in trace amounts cannot be excluded!
Diabetic meals
We prepare special meals for our diabetic guests, as needed. Our range of desserts also contains a treat or two, which you may safely eat. The a'la carte menu also indicates, which food is suitable for people with allergies or food intolerance. Unfortunately, our hotel cannot cater to paleo or vegan diets.
