The liabilities of the Contracting Party

The Customer shall be liable for all damages and disadvantages suffered by the Service Provider or a third person through a fault of the Customer’s own or any other persons in their responsibility. This liability shall apply even when the damaged party is entitled to require compensation directly from the Service Provider.
 

The Service Provider’s obligations

The Service Provider shall: 
- provide the accommodation and other services as ordered in line with the requirements and service standards in effect
- look into the Customer’s written complaint and take any steps necessary to handle the problem, which the Service Provider shall also make a written record of
 

The Service Provider’s liability

The Services Provider shall be liable to any damages suffered by the Customer, which was a result of the Service Provider’s or their staff’s fault within the Service Provider’s facilities.
This liability does not apply to damages suffered as a result of an unavoidable cause outside the scope of The Services Provider due to unavoidable cause beyond the control of the employees and the Guests of the Service Provider, or that have been caused by the Guest themselves. 

The Service Provider has the right to appoint certain premises within the hotel, where the Customer shall have no entry. The Service Provider shall not be liable for damages and/or injuries suffered at such premises.
The Customer shall immediately report any damage to the Hotel and/or provide the hotel with all the data required which explains the circumstances of said damage, or may be necessary in order to record a police report/start police proceedings. 
The Service Provider shall provide an in-room safe for the Customer, of which the instructions shall be found next to the safe and the Customer shall use it as instructed.

 

Force majeure

Force majeure is any cause or circumstance (e.g. war, fire, flood, extreme weather, power outage, strike), which the party has no control over; a force majeure shall exempt either party from fulfilling their contractual duties, while such a cause or circumstance persists. 
The Parties agree that they shall do their best to reduce the possibility of such causes to the greatest possible extent, and to remedy any damage or delay caused this way at the soonest.

 

Applicable law and competent court for this contract

The stipulations of the Hungarian Civil Code shall apply to the legal relationship between the Service Provider and the Contracting Party. Any legal dispute arising from this Contract shall be tried by the court with jurisdiction at the service location.
